Sheppard. Geronimo. #gymjam #burn

Sheppard may be a new band for American audiences, but they’ve been making some pretty sweet music for a few years in Brisbane, Australia. Now, they’re ready to conquer the world with their poppy, alt-rock sound. With a few ARIA’s (Australian version of Grammy’s) under their belt, they’ve set their sights high and this is a great track to introduce their sound to America. And man, that chorus. Make this leap!

Cheryl. I Don’t Care. #gymjam #burn #wcw

Cheryl Cole was a member of UK girl group Girls Aloud, but really stepped into the spotlight when she embarked on a solo career. This is just one of her several hits, and from her recent album ‘Only Human’. An upbeat, dancey pop song, “I Don’t Care” also has a dark edge to it. This is the edited version, so it’s OK to watch/listen at work…but we’re not responsible for the spontaneous dance party that may erupt!

Stars. Hold On When You Get Love And Let Go When You Give It. #gymjam #burn

Canadian band Stars knows how to make an amazing song…they’ve been doing it for 7 albums. They also know how to make amazing videos that circumvent the typical video expectation. They take simple approaches, add some social commentary and let the music soundtrack the short films. You can’t go wrong with any of their tracks, but this one’s a favorite at GymJams. Driving guitar, delicious bass, a killer chorus and a message we can all believe in.

Kristine W. Love Come Home. #gymjam #burn #wcw

Kristine W. is not a diva, she is THE diva because she has THAT voice. Her voice-beautiful, full and can go there…without fail. She has the look. And she embodies the passion. From her debut back in 1994 with the classic “FeelWhat You Want” to today, she’s a perfectionist who makes it look effortless. With 16 Billboard Dance #1’s (9 consecutive…more than Janet and Madonna!) to her name, Kristine W. shows no sign of slowing down on her latest “Love Come Home”. There’s a remix for everyone out there, so check her out and find your new diva.

Moby featuring Skylar Grey. The Last Day. #gymjam #yoga

The beats: slow and measured. The vocals: wispy and barely there. The result: Moby and Skylar Grey’s ‘The Last Day’. Smooth, chilled out electronica from the master. Featured on Moby’s album ‘Innocents’.
