What We Said Then:
What We Say Now:
Calvin Harris can really do no wrong. After the bitter break up with a certain pop start let, he turned his focus back to music and we couldn’t be happier. With a little help from Rihanna, this was definitely a jam we’ll always remember 2016 for.
We like bitter breakup Calvin. He pours his heart into his music, and we get some pretty great tracks. Take that TSwizzle!
Summer 2016 comes to a close, and these were the tracks that got you sweatin’ on GymJams.club. This is our second countdown of summer songs (see 2015’s list here), and we’re already looking forward to our best of 2016 list in December. In no particular order, these are the 7 tracks that made your lift, burn and yoga workouts this summer that much better…
Gryffin and Josef Salvat graced our pages 3 times for “Heading Home”: once for audio, then for official video, and finally for an acoustic version perfect for stretches and yoga. You can’t deny the appeal of “Can’t Stop The Feeling!” from Justin Timberlake. Calvin Harris and Rihanna KNOW that “This Is What You Came For”, and they’re giving it 100%. A R I Z O N A may have had a slamming original and remix of “I Was Wrong”, but it’s “Cross My Mind” that we had stuck on repeat. The Naked And Famous announced their return in a BIG way with the epic anthem “Higher”. Scavenger Hunt gave us a taste of their new EP with “River Runs Dry”. Finally, Sia and Sean Paul dominated airwaves and playlists with “Cheap Thrills”.

Ah, summer 2014. I bet if Calvin Harris could go back there, he’d tell himself to not date a certain global popstar. We can go back and reminisce about summer days and summer nights with this perfect for any time of year track.
A house-y track from Calvin Harris and London band Disciples. Add this for a darker, more brooding workout!

‘Glee’ ends its 6 season run tonight. We’re looking back at some of the GymJam-worthy tracks that stood out…and the versions that inspired them.
We Found Love:
On Calvin Harris’ latest, he enlists power-guitar-pop goddesses HAIM for their vocals, guitar and general awesomeness. “Pray To God” has the EDM beats that Calvin is known for, with an emotional vocal performance from the Haim sisters. Another smash from Harris’ ‘Motion’ album.
