Kristine W.’s 1996 major label debut album ‘Land Of The Living’ is an epic vocal, songwriting, and production achievement. Among the standout tracks are “Land Of The Loving”, “Feel What You Want”, “Sweet Mercy Me”, personal favorite “Jazzin'” and the brilliant “One More Try”. 20 years later, these songs could still be played on today’s dancefloors and people would flock to them.

Jody Watley. Some Kind Of Lover. #TBT #GymJam #burn

I actually can not believe this song is almost 30 years old. “Some Kind Of Lover” was the 4th single from the incomparable Jody Watley‘s debut album in 1988. It was another Top-10 pop single, and number one on the dance charts. As popular as this song was, some of her biggest hits still lay ahead of her at the time. Truly an inspiration, let’s celebrate #TBT with a classic.
