#Top25of2015 GymJams #4: Eau Claire. How Sweet It Is. Marvin Gaye. Eau Claire Remix. #gymjam #burn #indie

What We Said Then:

We recently featured Eau Claire’s jaw-droppingly awesome remix of Pink Feathers’ and Speak’s “The Feeling’s Gone” here. She’s back with a fresh-out-of-the-oven rework of the classic Marvin Gaye track, “How Sweet It Is”. Bubbling over with summery vibes and enthusiasm, if this doesn’t get you going, nothing will. When not DJ’ing in and around Washington, DC or performing with Duke Dumont, Tensnake and Pat Lok, she’s working on her upcoming EP. Seriously, #WeCantWait.

What We Say Now:

I don’t think anyone’s had the kind of year Eau Claire has; far-away DJ gigs, remixing some of the hottest new bands around, opening for major headliners in DC and beyond, all the while staying grounded and accessible. We first heard of Eau Claire when she remixed Pink Feathers and Speak’s “The Feeling’s Gone” in February. She then went on to remix Golden Coast, Cappa, Saint Motel and PHASES among many others. Every one of these tracks is a winner. One things for sure…when you see Eau Claire attached to a remix, you know it’s going to be incredible.

Pink Feathers featuring Speak. The Feeling’s Gone. Eau Claire Remix. #gymjam #burn #newmusic

It’s hard to improve upon an original, but here it is: the Eau Claire remix of “The Feeling’s Gone”. Portland-based Pink Feathers is joined by Austin’s up and coming band Speak and remixed by DC’s Eau Claire. The results? A well traveled track for New Music Tuesday. From her breathtakingly gorgeous pop EP ‘Invisible Lines’, an indie standout from 2014.
