#Top25of2016 GymJams #2: Gryffin. Heading Home. Featuring Josef Salvat. #GymJam #burn #lift #yoga

What We Said Then:

This spectacular new track comes from NYC producer Dan Griffith aka Gryffin and Australian rising star Josef Salvat. “Heading Home” is all sorts of amazing and deserves multiple spots on your pre, during and post workout playlists!

What We Say Now:

We can not believe the response and love for this track! Even today, it’s on multiple playlists, multiple times! If this isn’t a Power Song, I don’t know what is. First, the single version:

This spectacular new track comes from NYC producer Dan Griffith aka Gryffin and Australian rising star Josef Salvat. “Heading Home” is all sorts of amazing and deserves multiple spots on your pre, during and post workout playlists!

Then, the offical video came out, with some really nice extra vocal flourishes….

We jumped on Gryffin’s debut single “Heading Home” back in February, and now there’s finally an official, thought-provoking video for the EDM/pop track. Aussie Josef Salvat lends amazing vocals to a pounding, energetic track. The song is amazing, but when it all comes together at 1:31…it’s next level amazing.

Last but not least, there was a stunning acoustic version that put us in such a chill place.

Gryffin? Yup. Josef Salvat? Yup. Heading Home? For sure. Yoga? Definitely! The epic club banger “Heading Home” gets a passionate rework with minimal instrumentation by Gryffin, and beautiful vocals from Josef Salvat. If you’re done with yoga or warming up/cooling down, check out the original version here.

Be sure to also check out another terrific track from Gryffin and Bipolar Sunshine, “Whole Heart”!

Another scorcher from Flume. This track is just mellow and cool enough to work for yoga and stretch/cool down sessions, as well as lifting. It’s a seductive as it is chill. It’s out now from his ‘Skin Companion EP’.

Songs Of The Summer 2016. #GymJams #burn #lift #yoga

Summer 2016 comes to a close, and these were the tracks that got you sweatin’ on GymJams.club. This is our second countdown of summer songs (see 2015’s list here), and we’re already looking forward to our best of 2016 list in December. In no particular order, these are the 7 tracks that made your lift, burn and yoga workouts this summer that much better…

Gryffin and Josef Salvat graced our pages 3 times for “Heading Home”: once for audio, then for official video, and finally for an acoustic version perfect for stretches and yoga. You can’t deny the appeal of “Can’t Stop The Feeling!” from Justin Timberlake. Calvin Harris and Rihanna KNOW that “This Is What You Came For”, and they’re giving it 100%. A R I Z O N A may have had a slamming original and remix of “I Was Wrong”, but it’s “Cross My Mind” that we had stuck on repeat. The Naked And Famous announced their return in a BIG way with the epic anthem “Higher”. Scavenger Hunt gave us a taste of their new EP with “River Runs Dry”. Finally, Sia and Sean Paul dominated airwaves and playlists with “Cheap Thrills”.

Alan Walker. Sing Me To Sleep. Marshmello Remix. #GymJam #lift

Back in June, we shared “Sing Me To Sleep” by Alan Walker as a Yoga or Lift GymJam. Up-and-coming producer Marshmello has added a more electro twist to it. The beautiful vocals from Iselin Solheim are still there, but a kicking electro beat is too. Nice!

Alan Walker. Sing Me To Sleep. #GymJam #lift #yoga

Norwegian Alan Walker follows up his stunning “Faded” with the equally impressive “Sing Me To Sleep”.
